It is even a good idea to drain the trough and clean the inside of your floor fountain to prevent the build up of bacteria and algae.

Outdoor Fountains

With Outdoor Fountains it is important to do everything you would for your indoor floor and wall fountains, but more often. These fountains are exposed to the elements and thus much more vulnerable to dirt and leaves building up along with Algae and Bacteria. Not to mention hard water marks. We recommend that you regularly drain and clean these fountains and use cleaning solutions regularly to help prolong the life and beauty of your water feature.
